So, I will admit it, I am a massive Zara fan. It has been my turn to brand since Maggie-Anne was big enough to fit into their baby range. Not only have I dressed Maggie-Anne in Zara but I have also fallen foul of purchasing outfits from Zara for every other child I know.
I love the styling and range at Zara but I agree with your internal monolouge...it can be pricey.
So, I have developed a process for my Zara hoards which is to buy key pieces and then accessorize with other brands.
What made the cut?

What almost made the cut?
Boots. An essential item for winter but harder to decide upon given the current COVID crisis and inability to try shoes on. So, I went for the simplest looking and also the least clunky given my child struggles to maintain two feet on the floor in her converse.
They arrived last week and I was not disappointed. Fleece lined, easy to put on, beautiful design. They're a 10/10.
All of these were in my saved basket so I highly rate them. If I had a child who didn't run everywhere and ended up on her face quite so much, I would have gone for another one of these pairs.

Let's talk shackets. Now, I have one in my own saved list on H&M but obviously my child's fashion comes first so I found these three beauties on Zara. As I had already placed the boots in my basket, this was a no brainer, I went for the the one on the far right. Again, not disappointed, super cosy, fleece lined and already a big hit with the kid.

Knitwear. Now, knitwear wasn't part of the plan but I clicked on the category and then I got lost in all of these beautiful colours! I still have some of these saved in case I can find some money down the back of the sofa. I went for pink in the end. Our child isn't often dressed in pink so, for a change I went for it. It is the most incredibly soft, beautiful jumper I have ever seen and she melted my heart the moment she put it on. I have styled it with some footless tights on my instagram if you're looking more inspiration.

Finally coats. Now of course Maggie-Anne has a coat and in that department I am pretty sensible. She has a nursery coat purchased from Primark, a perfectly suitable coat and she still gets a lot of compliments on that. However, it does get covered in chocolate and other snacks on our journey home from nursery so I managed to convince the husband that a wash and wear tactic was the way to go.
Stone or cream was my favoured option but as I mentioned about the snacks...that wasn't going to work. I couldn't justify the price tag of the other maroon coat but if you can, it is a beautiful option.

I am sure there will be more Zara hoards to come.
