So, a few people have asked me about shoes recently. I think since lockdown and the shops shut, parents have been expanding their horizons on the shoe front. There's no denying that some of the well known high street brands do a great range and a brilliant fitting service (when you can go in store) but there's so much more out there.

Unfortunately for us UK consumers, some of my favourite brands are from overseas however, there are some UK stockists.

Petasil

Now this is a brand I can vouch for, based in Spain, they have a wonderful range of shoes for kids of all ages. I bought Maggie-Anne a pair of t-bar shoes from Petsail back in June time and they still look brand new. She wears them to nursery and at the weekend - they've stood the test of time like no other pair of shoes she has. Admittedly, they are a bit pricey but I managed to find some on eBay and I have seen some UK stockists with sales on lately so check them out.

Sass & Me

A recent find on instagram was Sass & Me. They have some of the most wonderful shoes, boots, moccasins and sandals at reasonable prices. Kids grow out of shoes so fast at this younger stage but they're such an important item in a kid's wardrobe, that's why this brand seem to have got it just right. A great range of pre-walkers and toddler shoes on here. Below are some of my favourite finds.

Baby Got Sole

Baby Got Sole have some beautiful shoes again for younger children ranging from babies to toddlers first shoes. They have a wonderful range of little booties and moccasins for both boys and girls. Here are some of my favourites.

Petit Nord

Petit Nord have some of the most beautiful shoes for kids that I have ever seen, based in Copenhagen, they don't have any UK stockists listed on their website at the moment but you can buy online. These are at right at the top end for pricing and unfortunately I haven't shelled out the money yet to try them so cannot vouch for the quality. However, if you've ever bought scandi toys, you'll know the quality is usually very very high so I would hope the same from a scandi shoe brand.
